Data Walls Spark great DIscussions!

Let it Snow!  Thank you all for engaging in the work around data walls. The tool that Lissy shared with you has already sparked great conversation regarding what teams consider to be a four and how they are grading. If we realize we weren't perfectly aligned on things, that is a celebration! Now we know and can figure it out. If we never look at our assessments together in this way, then we never know. The end goal is not to be perfect, it is to see how we can get better at serving students every day. I have heard some really important work being done, just by us choosing one assessment to analyze. My goal is for us to be able to do this work with all assessments. We are taking it one step at a time, but consider looking at another assessment using the data wall tool . This fits within the structure of our PLT as analyzing data from assessments. We are plugging away and getting better and better at using our PLTs to move students to that next level. These quotes also make me think of all of you. You have definitely not been teaching in comfort this year. This year has challenged us all. You have risen to meet every challenge as professionals, and for that I am grateful and our families are grateful. Through it all, you have continued to be brave enough to see the light.
